I don't have a green thumb. I have the exact opposite of it. So, hoping the kids will do better than I, I signed them up for a gardening class.
"I don't know about this, Mommy. Looks dirty and messy."
Pack in the dirt.
Loosen the roots.
Get the plant in.
"Ah... so much fun."
