It's tea. The tea bulb is a tiny sphere about the size of an acorn. Once you put hot water in your glass, the bulb blossoms into this beautiful looking flower. The tea itself is a very mild and floral green tea. You can add water to the cup 4-5 times before the flavour is too weak. What a delicate and special treat. You can read more about them here.
